Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

The first picture is a picture of the housewife pin keeper that I made today. I have been telling you all I would do this, so I thought I would make one or two... Here it is and the second picture is the outside which is what you see as it is rolled up and keeps whatever you have in it safe. Also the inside has pockets. It is good for pins, needles for cross stitch and beading because you can put them all in a separate flap on the bottom to distinquish between them. Later I may sell some ... Probably about 8 dollars apiece... They are fun, and if I duplicate they are pretty quick to make.... Thought I would share :) Laura

oh I should have noted the size of the "housewife" is about 3 by 8 inches ... it just looks super small on here :)

Hi Laura, I just found your blog...Very nice housewife. I've got a few charts for these that I'm anxious to stitch, hopefully over the winter months I can make some stash reduction progress :-)

Vee, welcome to the site! I am glad you liked the housewife... I have some pointers for you if you would like them... When you have the ribbon on it and you have the pieces facing each other you will have a small piece unstitched well if you pull your ribbon through that hole to the outside you will not have to fear running it over with the machine! Of course that is trial and error speaking... You are probably an expert stitcher - :) .... I would like to see your progress when you do that !! Also I am adding an invite to our blog since you are crafty :) Also I will be updating the site this weekend so perhaps I can devote more of an area to the housewifes by then! Thankyou again for your response... Welcome! Laura
