Hello All :)

Hello everyone, Hoping everyone is doing well. Laura, I am stitching as much as I can everyday to finish on my lady but want to give you the heads up that I may need another week - I want to make sure I do a really good job and I know you are the one receiving my next mailing. Is that ok with you? Happy stitching to all of you Vanessa in Upstate NY - where we are having a brief heatwave of 40 degrees then a small snow storm on Sunday? ha - Spring is a'comin

On a stitching note, I have sent a few things out this weekend... and will post pics when they arrive... In the meantime I will be adding photos of Andreas PIF to me tomorrow :) She sent me a lovely peice with dragonflies as the theme! LOVE IT!!! stay tuned!!!

Jon`s band has gotten the info that they will be playing at Sturgis again this next year. While I may be staying here, I am proud of him. His band is coming along quite well... this is a pic of him last year at Sturgis :)

Dante will be 9 months old on the 23rd!

So here is a picture of Dante this past weekend... He is sitting on my recently purchased rocker. :) He likes it alot, and it fits him well, the seat is pear shaped so it holds his little tush in :) and it is a medium size... I am always with him, of course, but he looks so big here :)

New Round

Hi everyone, I have been super busy. In answer to your question Vanessa, I will be starting a round but I think it will be probably Jan 1, 2010 Want to give everyone a break and time to catch up then I think we will do the Dragon themed round robin, OR a Mirabilia themed rr... I will make a place to vote on it... Basically you make squares on your RR.... probably 12 or so... I will find an example of one or a few and link to it later.... all different sizes of squares... Personally I would like them joined together... and then as the fabbie goes from place to place, the stitcher picks out a pattern and stitches it... as with the mirabilia, you may only stitch a part of a design... the head for example... (will post a link later...) it turns out really quite beautiful SO .... That is my thoughts that gives us time to finish off our egytptian pieces, 3 Ladies peices and make the squares and still enjoy the season and personal stitching the season being summer :) DO NOT WORRY along the way there will be a giveaway - perhaps a lottery ... and maybe a small stitch for a friend small design peice... weekend way too short

Here are the pics of 2 fobs I made yesterday :) It was the only spare time I had.. the rest I spent doing homework. I learned alot, though! I have more tonight... I did not finish. I will be posting all of my scissor fobs on Scissors and Fobs link if anyone is interested. I hope to post them to the Etsy store soon as well. Had fun with these 2! Named them Monster Mash, and Grape Fizz :) The next picture is of the sky yesterday morning. I could not get the pink ... but think the picture is good, regardless of the wysteria rack ;) the sky looks like fire! Laura

Queen of Hearts Scissor Fob

I made a scissor fob for Valentines today. I made two identical ones actually :) I will be posting them in my Etsy store later on tonight. Dante is awake now, so I will go! The fob is called : Queen of Hearts. Hope you enjoy it ;) Laura

March 1st, and New Link for Biscornu

Hi everyone! First I would like to say we are updating the sendoff date for the ladies to March 1. It is only a week or so from the due date, and we are so busy. We can send early, but I want everyone to be stress free :) 2. I wanted everyone who is interested to know about a 15 square biscornu I saw on my Basket of Biscornu SAL (for lack of a better definition)... http://tintocktap.blogspot.com/ It is incredible, and I think it would take more time, but would be so easy. There is also a wonderful tip for placing the button in the middle of your biscornu more easily! I have added the link to the blog links to the right as well :) 3. Just wanted to share some cute Dante news :) a. he did his first look grandma, I am not holding on to anything, and I am still standing :) and b. he figured out that the shadow on the wall moved with him :) he then moved his head in a cute back and forth sway for quite some time, and giggled. February 24th

Okay, I think I have the spam cleaned up now... Hope everyone is doing well... Just wanted to remind everyone that the round of the 3 Ladies we have currently been working on is due out on February 24th. If there will be any problems getting it out, please let me know. I wonder what everyone`s thoughts are on after we finish the round... it seems we are very quiet. I was thinking of taking a small break, and then perhaps doing a SAL... I dont know... if anyone has ideas ... that is great... you have all been so much fun to stitch with, and I do hope we remain friends. I feel as if I have hurt some of you perhaps... as there is so much silence... If so, I never have meant to... I have a very busy life, and I am not truly caught up... ever. I never mean to hurt anyone. Hope all is well... HUGS to all that need them. Laura

February

Welcome to February everyone... I am planting some plants in my aerogarden today I missed that goal this week This is my computer corner. Some of the finishes did not make it, they are being presently used, or are in the process of being finished... I love all of the items... they bring warmth to my corner. someday the corner will be painted another color and the corner will be in a whole different spot but for now, this is where I blog and keep my fabbie and dream of new projects! enjoy, and thank you to all of my stitching friends!
