Hey all! I am getting so excited to see what my piece from the Egyptian RR looks like! I can't wait! I'm still deciding if I'm going to do the next round and if I do which design to pick. Laura, are we going to section off the charts and have everyone stitch a section or are we just going to try to stitch as much as we can before sending it along? I was just curious about that.
well the design will be split up by the number of contributors - it will be even .... and it may be a 3 month stitching if there are 6 members... we will see how many come along for the ride :)
ReplyDeletewe will only stitch the bottom row before we send off :)
that way its a real surprise and yet it is exactly where you want it on your fabric ...
then when we get it back we get the top which has less stitches (but it has backstitching and beading to even that out )

I'm confused but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I love the 1st and 3rd choice but would do the 2nd one as well.A lot of help here, hu.... :)

we will all stitch on each others ... as before
but you will only recieve the one you picked

Hopefully soon I'll figure out how to post a stand-alone comment. Laura, you mentioned to me that you were going to send off floss with your piece - should we just all plan to do that? That way we don't have to buy 3 sets of colors, or worry about keeping them separate. You may have already thought of that. I think it would make things simpler.

Yes, that is correct... I will of course be working on a directions section ... since this is a whole different set ... Let me go to make the 3 lists now also ... we will send along all floss ... we will do our own beading and backstitching when it arrives back ... finished otherwise....
